Laurie Brasher

Laurie has deep roots in Alabama, spending her first ten years in Jefferson County before making St. Clair County her home. She is married to Paul, the pastor of Central Baptist Church, and has been a Logan Martin Lake enthusiast since age six, spending countless summer weekends water skiing and fishing at her family’s getaway.

Before real estate, Laurie enjoyed a successful career in education, where she was honored in 2014 as the Alabama Middle School Teacher of the Year and inducted into the JSU Middle School Teacher Hall of Fame.

Real estate has always been a natural passion for Laurie. With her parents and younger brother involved in the industry, and inspired by the Godly work ethic of her mother, Sandy Gunter—a highly successful agent, broker, and owner—Laurie has embraced the profession wholeheartedly.
